Throughout the year, Camp Ghormley provides facility rentals for a variety of group retreats including churches, schools, businesses, and family reunions. Whether you are planning a small, laid-back gathering or an large, action-packed camp, we have facility rental packages for 15-200 guests. While we are conveniently located near Mt. Rainier and Yakima, WA, we serve many groups from the Seattle area, and Portland, as well as Wenatchee and the Tri-Cities. Located in the Wenatchee National Forest’s Naches Ranger District, outdoor recreation opportunities abound! You can learn more about our surrounding area by clicking the links below.
Rimrock Lake – Rimrock Lake is open to fishing year-round, features a public boat launch, and offers many day use areas for picnicking and playing by the water. The Silver Beach Resort Restaurant & Store is a convenient place to stop in for a snack.
Hiking – Set out into the forest straight from camp, or find a popular hike nearby through the Washington Trails Association.
Skiing – With majestic views of Mt. Rainier, White Pass Ski Area provides terrain for skiers and riders of every ability. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, on-site Child Care, multiple dining options, and full-service Learning, Nordic, Rental & Retail Centers are available.
