Primary Camp

ATTENTION PARENTS! Please see the Parent Handbook for crucial information regarding preparing for camp this year (packing lists, prep checklists, due dates, etc.).

Primary Camp is an overnight camp session for students entering 2^nd through 4^th grade in the fall. This is a shorter session for our youngest age group – a great first camp experience! Campers participate in fun-filled activities, spend time in nature, make friends, and learn about God during their time at Ghormley. From structured meals, games, and cabin times, to activity choices during free time, campers have no time to be bored! We know that for some campers, spending three nights away from home can be a challenge! For more information on how we address homesickness, see: Information on Camper Homesickness

Students entering 4th grade have the option to attend either Primary or Junior Camp. Primary Camp is a day shorter than Junior Camp, with a younger overall age group. Junior Camp offers all the same activities as Primary Camp, with the addition of paintball. Parents are encouraged to choose the session that best fits their 4^th grader’s needs.
